Long Song Description: And another one of these old collaborations with keyboard-maestro Steve Toeteberg, a real genius when it comes to music. This tune was recorded more than 20 years ago in one of those long night sessions in my old 24-track studio in Hannover/Germany. We couldn't do this production during the daytime, because the studio was booked out with industrial work in those hours. So we decided to make it a night event, and produced an album's worth of music in a week or two. Since this music was recorded in a time when sequencers just started out, the whole thing was completely played by hand, except for the SP-12 drum-machine.

Story Behind the Song: After having worked on a lot of mid- and up-tempo pieces for more than a week, we decided to create at least one slow song that is "pure emotion". Sadly enough our sound-engineer messed this production up, by programming a lot of unnecessary percussion and drum-stuff ... but if you listen closely, you can hear that it was initially a pretty nice song ... ;-)
